VenCome at Professional Beauty London 2026: What We Learned About Flexible Beauty Workspaces
VenCome Team
8 October 2026

On 4–5 October, VenCome attended Professional Beauty London 2026 at ExCeL London—Europe’s largest autumn event for beauty, spa and wellness professionals.
Co-located with Salon International, Professional Beauty London brought the hair, beauty, spa and aesthetics industries together under one roof. The event welcomed 22,378 visitors across two days, including students, freelance professionals, therapists, salon owners, clinic professionals, educators and leading brands.
For VenCome, it was an opportunity to meet the professionals and businesses shaping the future of the industry—and to better understand the practical challenges they face when looking for places to work and grow.
What happened at Professional Beauty London 2026?
The 2026 event featured more than 200 beauty, skincare, spa and aesthetics brands, alongside product demonstrations, competitions and industry education.
Visitors could attend four free live stages covering professional beauty, business, skin and longevity, and active ageing. The programme also included the World Spa & Wellness Convention, CIDESCO workshops, Nailympia, the National Massage Championship and Power Hour round-table discussions focused on real business challenges.
The Professional Beauty London 2026 programme covered topics including building a successful home-based beauty business, creating a profitable skin business, expanding a clinic, marketing in an AI-led world and growing a service business without losing what makes it special.
Beyond the scale of the event, one message stood out clearly to us: more beauty professionals are choosing to build careers and businesses on their own terms.
Independent beauty businesses are growing
Throughout the event, we met talented professionals preparing to launch their own services, grow an existing client base or work independently across different locations. Some were at the very beginning of their journey. Others had already built a strong following but wanted the freedom to serve clients without committing to their own permanent premises.
The ambition we saw at Professional Beauty London was clear—but ambition still needs the right place in which to operate.
For many independent professionals, taking on a full commercial lease is expensive, inflexible and simply unnecessary. A nail technician may need a desk for selected days. A hairstylist may want a chair close to a particular client base. A therapist or aesthetic practitioner may need a private treatment or clinic room for a few hours each week.
The demand is not always for more space. Often, it is for the right space, in the right location, for the right amount of time.
Flexible space supports flexible careers
Flexible working is now part of how many beauty businesses operate. Professionals may divide their week between neighbourhoods, test demand in a new area, work around other commitments or gradually move from home-based services into a professional setting.
Access to bookable space makes that growth more manageable. It allows practitioners to establish themselves professionally, meet clients in a suitable environment and expand at a pace that matches real demand—without being locked into a large financial commitment too early.
It also creates opportunities for established salons and clinics. At Professional Beauty London 2026, we spoke with businesses interested in renting out available chairs, treatment rooms and other underused areas. Some wanted to generate income from space that would otherwise sit empty; others were exploring ways to accommodate more professionals and respond to customer demand without immediately expanding their permanent teams.
This is where the needs of professionals and space owners naturally meet.
Why finding the right space still feels difficult
Despite the clear demand on both sides, finding professional workspace can still be fragmented. Opportunities are often shared through social media posts, informal messages or word of mouth. Important information—such as availability, pricing, facilities, rules and booking terms—may not be clear at the beginning.
That uncertainty costs time and can make an already significant business decision feel riskier than it needs to be.
VenCome was created to make the process easier, clearer and more trusted. Our platform connects independent professionals and businesses with professional spaces available to book flexibly, for both short- and long-term needs.
Beauty professionals can discover salon chairs, nail desks, beauty treatment rooms and clinic rooms that suit their services, preferred location and schedule. Hosts can present their spaces clearly, reach professionals actively looking for somewhere to work and turn unused capacity into an additional source of income.
By bringing space details, availability, communication and booking into one place, VenCome helps both sides make more informed decisions. Trust is especially important when a professional is choosing where to welcome clients—or when a host is inviting someone new into their business.
Beyond beauty: flexible spaces for modern businesses
The need for flexibility extends beyond the beauty industry. VenCome also offers offices and larger professional spaces for short- and long-term use.
Businesses can find spaces for meetings, training courses, workshops, conferences and events, as well as offices for temporary projects, growing teams or ongoing work. Whether someone needs a beauty chair for a day, a clinic room each week, a meeting room for an hour or an office for a longer period, the principle is the same: professional space should adapt to the way people work today.
Creating more room for independent growth
Professional Beauty London 2026 demonstrated the energy, skill and entrepreneurial ambition driving the industry forward. It also reinforced something we hear in our everyday conversations: talented people are ready to grow, but they need practical, accessible places from which to do it.
VenCome is building the connection between that talent and the spaces already available around us. By helping professionals find and book suitable places to work—and helping hosts make better use of their space—we want to remove one of the biggest practical barriers to independent growth.
